How much money do you want to spend? Any of them around the riverfront area are fine but they all vary in price. From high dollar to lower: Hermitage Hotel, Hilton, Renaissance, Sheraton, Doubletree, Hampton. Those are all within walking distance to everything.

Across the river and across from the stadium parking lot is the Ramada, but it's a little further walk to everything.

Go out a couple miles west of downtown and you're closer to the Vandy area. It gets a little cheaper with more chain hotels. Or you could stay where the Titans do the night before at Loews Vanderbilt Plaza, but it will cost more.

Honestly, any kind of food you might want is within walking distance of the 2nd Ave district aka riverfront park area. Same thing for nightlife.

My brutal search found little available even in the nice hotels.and they were more in the $225+ range. I agree with the reviews..... they sound brutal. I chose the Ramada ONLY because of the Titans and lack of other choices. (Seems Saturdays are booked all over).

It was tempting to just stay at the airport and cab everything.....but what's the fun of that? Methinks the Vandy area has some decent options, but you will need to drive or cab to Broadway. I WANTED ($ / Location.) the Best Western.....but it was booked. 'Bad reviews, but great location to walk and won't break the bank'.

I just read some reviews of the hotels and wow, I'm glad they weren't ever my experience, which has always been good. Or maybe I was too ripped to notice? lol

if you are staying at the sheraton you might want to walk down to 5th and union then head toward church.
this will bring you toward the arcade where walgreens is.
somethings are open on saturdays like manny's house of pizza and the peanut/candy shop.

hotel rooms on titans weekends are at premium because of demand and even more so due to the flood taking out opryland.
