I say us (http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/tracker#dt-by-round-input:1/dt-tabs:dt-by-team/dt-by-team-input:ten), but that's just me.

Other good drafts in my opinion:
Bengals (http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/tracker#dt-by-round-input:1/dt-tabs:dt-by-team/dt-by-team-input:cin)
Broncos (http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/tracker#dt-by-round-input:1/dt-tabs:dt-by-team/dt-by-team-input:den)
Lions (http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/tracker#dt-by-round-input:1/dt-tabs:dt-by-team/dt-by-team-input:det)
Dolphins (http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/tracker#dt-by-round-input:1/dt-tabs:dt-by-team/dt-by-team-input:mia)
Vikings (http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/tracker#dt-by-round-input:1/dt-tabs:dt-by-team/dt-by-team-input:min)
Pats (http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/tracker#dt-by-round-input:1/dt-tabs:dt-by-team/dt-by-team-input:ne)
Eagles (http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/tracker#dt-by-round-input:1/dt-tabs:dt-by-team/dt-by-team-input:phi)

The Raiders.

They made it so that I thought my 102 temperature was making me hallucinate.

You know I was thinking about the Raiders last night and I could just imagine Al Davis after drafting S Michael Mitchell as that "TJ Whoseyourmana" guy from the NFL fantasy football commercials - "Championship".

I mean seriously he is the NFL equivalent to that guy at every fantasy draft that the other guys in the league struggle with to keep a straight face when they draft. You know the kind if you've ever played fantasy football.

Edit: I guess I could answer the question that was asked on the thread. Sorry Milla. :doh

For their actual weekend haul I would have to say the Broncos, Lions, or Browns, who you left out of your poll but also had a terrific draft. The Pats draft was just as good if not better because it will yield benefits beyond this season in terms of stockpiling picks.

The Jets did great. They traded up to get Mark Sanchez.
Then> Shonne Greene and our Matt Slauson
They did good

Bengals got the two best value picks in the draft in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. They're my choice.

I thought the Bengals had a good draft as well. I also thought the Bears did pretty well, but maybe that's just because they took some players I liked. I thought the Fins and the Vikings had a bad draft personally.

The Giants, IMO made a very solid team, better. The Iggles also did well, but the Giants are primed for a nice long string of years as a super bowl contender.

Hakeem Nicks ( WR ) Not as fast as "One shot, one leg" Well, he is NOW, and how important is top end speed in a 5 x 10 cell any way ?? But but I digress...
Clint Sintim ( LB ) * My fav pick by them .. this kid is a beast. *
William Beaty ( T ) Meh .. needs to develop
Ramses Barden ( WR ) Redongculous upside.

I agree with you about the Giants too. Of course, they took some of my favorite playas too, lol

I'd have to go with the bengals. they did really good.

part of me wanted them to get rey maualuga 1st round I was suprised to see his was still available.

but I'm glad we got britt its who I wanted, and stephen tulloch is showing promise.

but all in all raiders had the best draft. I think they're aiming for the 1st pick next year

We're getting love from the Dallas media. This is a rare thing.

http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/spt/stories/042709dnspodraftanalysis.41a7b13.html

However, realistically it takes a good 3 to 4 seasons to really rate a draft. In 2006 all of the media was giving the Texans an F for their draft (passing on Bush and VY for Mario), however now that grade has gone up from F to A+ http://www.boston.com/sports/football/articles/2009/04/19/grades_are_in_for_class_of_06/.

LOL @ the Raiders. At least one guy gave them a C+ amongst all the other F and D grades.

Yea, I LMAO at that too. GPA of .78 suits Al Davis, doesn't it?

Looks like there was a lot of really good talent available this year. A lot of teams did as well as we did. I'm really giddy about our draft this year, and touch myself when I think about it. :ohmy :banana :saywha

As they should. I was one of the few people who felt they made the right move with Mario.

I agree it takes a few years to know whether a draft is a bust or not. That being said...I think detroit made out like bandits. JMO. The other teams that milla mentioned did well as well. But I think that they got a kick rear new coach and after hearing that he intends to go with something similar to the spread offense in college (with a few twists) I think that they will do really well this year. This spread offense is something I had hoped we would try when we drafted VY...but oh well. That is my own broken record...not ya'lls to have to deal with.

Worst drafts San Diego, maybe the Raiders (remember Howey Long)...I dunno.

I'm confused. Are you saying Howie Long was a bad draft pick?

No... far from it, just that many years ago when Raiders drafted Howie in the second round Kiper openly mocked Al Davis and the pick. Much like ESPN/everyone else mocked the Raider's draft this year. So maybe they had a bad draft this year...but given the three-four year success yardstick...and the fact that Howie was obviously not a bust but everyone mocked the pick at the time...doesn't mean that they had a bad draft. I had just put in my quote that maybe the Raiders had a bad draft...but we won't really know whose draft was good or bad ultimately for a few years. And obviously Howie did totally pan out.

Ah okay I gotcha.

My brother is a Raiders fan so I was quick to call him after each of their first two picks. My laughing wasn't as good as his sighing. He was quick to say that Asomugha was bashed when he was picked in the first round (whether this is true or not I don't remember).

Edit: I just found this from February of last year.

"Asomugha has validated Al Davis’ belief the safety-turned-corner could become a top-flight defender.
After undoubtedly reading the harsh criticism laid upon the Raiders for making such a reach when Asomugha was drafted, Davis had probably one of the biggest grins when the 2006 season ended. Asomugha is one of a handful pet projects that has actually panned out for the wily owner."

After looking back at that draft a number of people gave the Titans a grade of A (Woolfolk, Calico, and Long were seen as great picks) while the Raiders were given an F. The Raiders had picks (31 and 32) in that draft. Asomugha is arguably the best corner in the league while Tyler Brayton is a solid DE for the Panthers.

It pretty much shows that the draft is a crap shoot and most "experts" don't really know any better than we do.
