Titans tight end Bo Scaife will sign his franchise tender and report to the team’s offseason program, his agent said on Monday.
Agent Kevin Robinson said Scaife planned to sign his tender even before the Titans drafted South Carolina tight end Jared Cook in the third round on Sunday.
Last week, The Tennessean also reported Scaife had plans to report after working out in Denver for the first six weeks of the program. Scaife was at Baptist Sports Park on Monday.
A number of teams expressed in interest in trading for Scaife during this weekend’s NFL Draft, Robinson confirmed, but nothing ever materialized. Since the draft has passed, trade talks appear to be dead.

thank goodness cause i anticapte seeing Bo and Cook being deadly in the double TE set. Especially if Cook improves blocking to allow us to use play-action. Hopefully crumpler will tudor him and by about week 10 jared will become a major player in the pass game...mismatches all over the field..

Ha! I don't believe it for one minute. A little competition seems to cure indecision, huh?

As stated above, he announced last week he was returning to Baptist Sports Park, but I'm sure drafting Jared Cook also solidified the deal.

I think drafting Cook had some impact, but the fact that so many TE's were drafted by other teams probably had just as much of an impact. His trade value plummeted when all those teams picked up TE's and while the draft was going. The fact that the draft is over hurt his trade value too.
Glad Bo's coming in. I too think the competition may have solidified his decision to get back here.

They need to get Cook involved in the offense from the very first game of the season. There isn't any need to waste time. They wasted time with Lavelle last season, whether he was ready or not, i'm sure he would've been more useful than McCareins.

I don't know, as bad as McCareins was, he was at least close to the balls he was dropping and was pretty good in run support.
We were probably better off than having someone who wasn't sure which way he was cutting on a given play.
