I guess they didn't put 89 away, thats a big jersey to fill Mr Cook
I like em all! Especially Britt's and Ringer's.

i def like Ringer at #3 and Britt at #18. There definitely original and leaves room to make their own name for themselves.
lol i put alot of stock into jersey numbers for some reason. i guess because i was always so sentimental/supersticious with my numbers. So when we get new players i always like to see them get numbers that arent always common.

Yeah, now if we can get Hawkins to dump 87.

Only the guy rated as the best blocking tight end in the draft last year.

who the hell is Britt at this point
Career NFL Stats
Stevens 1 Catch for 9 yards
Britt 0 Catches for 0 Yards
New league, new ballgame....you have to earn it
If he wants to use his shiny new rookie contract to wear 88...let him
But he has to earn my respect

im certain kenny britt wants to be successful in the NFL but, can he do it with the added pressure of having to earn chronbrownie012's respect? Thats too much for a rook dont you think? :P

I'm just sick of all the fans thinking of him as the second coming
We all need to temper expectations
I've seen too many people on the board talking like some of these draft picks are amazing already. They haven't played a snap. People talking about cutting Scaife for Cook forget Ben Troupe, Shad Meier, etc.
I like the Britt pick....but I'm not going to stand by and let him get anointed our savior

I agree. I prefer to sit back and see what they're able to do on the field during a regular game.
If they show promising things during pre-season games, that's a good sign, but it's still not a formal one.

Yeah, so, Stevens, give up your jersey man, it's the right thing to do. Justin "12" Gage is the only WR to make a number not in the 80's look hot.

the hype doesnt bother me. It keeps the offseason more exciting. Odds are people with such lofty expectations will be dissapointed but, its boring not to dream about getting another Offensive Rookie of the Year (at the WR spot no less). So until the actual games start and give me something to occupy the football part of my brain. It will be filled with thoughts of Kenny Britt scoring 14 TDs his first year in the league. Make that another 14 for Jared Cook as well LMAO!

What board are you reading? We're excited about the pick because it's the first first-round reciever we've taken in years at a time when we really need one, but I'm pretty sure nobody realistically expects him to come in and have a 1000+ yard ROY season. We're excited about the fact that it's possible, but nobody is going to call for his head if he doesn't do it.

You are kidding yourself.
Titan receivers spend YEARS working up to that kind of production level.
