Time to "jump" bandwagons!
I hope Kansas City wins over those ratbirds!!!
And NYJ over Indianapolis.
In a no-brainer New Orleans over Seattle.
I think that things are going to be very close between the Cheese-heads and Philly...but GB has a slight better chance in my book.

This Seahawks / Saints game was damn entertaining.
After going to the game there last year they have become a team I root for. The fans there are great and so is the overall environment in and around the stadium.
I still don't think the team is very good but I'm glad for Pete Carroll and the Seahawks fans.
Oh and that Marshawn Lynch run was a thing of beauty. There was no bringing him down. He just wanted it more than anyone else did.

Sean Payton deciding to kick a field goal on 4th and 2 by the goal line down by 7 in the 4th quarter was pretty questionable coaching as well. He isn't always the bold coach that everyone makes him out to be.

The players get a lot of the blame but the scheme was badly thought out as well. The defensive coverage was way too soft throughout the entire game and adjustments were never made. That is on the coaches.

Yeah Hawks, things o' beauty. Cracks me up. I'd laugh my ass off if they won it all. Oh, and Rodney Harrison can kiss my bony old ass, he wouldn't give Hasselbeck any credit (You know Tony D, I wouldn't have minded it if you would have slapped that smug look off his face a few times this year). This after watching Sanchez miss an open reciever twice in the end zone, then throwing an INT. A WR can get open, a defense can play soft, but if a QB doesn't get it there it means nothing. Give Matt his due. And that run, one of the greatest I've ever seen. One hell of a fun game! I had a good feeling about Seattle, thought they'd fight hard in their home stadium... never thought they do this good.
And the Pack and the Jets got a win too. Aside from the Chiefs loss it was a good weekend. Don't know how good it'll be next weekend (Hawks are bad on road, Pats own Jets at home), but for now I'll savor what I got.

Chi over Sea... They won't let Cutler decide the game for them. Chicago's D wins it.
Atl over GB... I don't think they can get theyre running game going like they did last week. and only 2 losses in the dome.
Pit over Bal... Can't go against Polamalu anymore. The guys is crazy good. And as much as i hate Ben he's too big and strong in the pocket.
NYJ over NE 24-17... Brady will get lit up this game. I think Sanchez bounces back from a bad week and completes some nice passes to keep them in this ball game.

That wasn't holding on that punt return. The Steelers player fell down to get the call. This game should be 28-24.
I'm not annoyed that the official missed the call. I'm annoyed that the announcers are idiots and kept harping on about it being a hold while watching the replays that showed it wasn't.
Edit: To clarify, he might have been holding with his left hand at first but that isn't what was called. The flag was thrown right after the Steelers player went down so I'm pretty sure that's what he was calling a hold.

Pitt. still has a well balanced team, and they are a better match for N.E.

You'll never, ever, EVER listen to me on this, because it goes against "SUPER DUPER SAFE CONSERVATIVE ULTRA SAFE FISHERBALL" but, here goes:
Tie game, Steelers ball. After rushing the QB all game and doing well, when the chips were down, when it mattered - the Ravens go prevent and rush 3, drop 8. Result: Big Ben has all day, long completion, eventual Steelers score.
Now, Ravens ball, under 1.5mins. Steelers rush Flacco. 4 and out, game over.

That was the most un-Ravenlike half of football Baltimore has ever played. Coaching did not do them in, failure of execution did. Anquan Boldin and T.J. Houshmandzadeh both dropped very important passes. They could have been Justin Gage and Nate Washington in disguise.

You coach in a way so your team can overcome some mistakes. Yes, players dropped footballs, yes, players missed assignments. It happens. But when your overall plan is wrong, your game will get away from you. Perhaps a single dropped TD pass matters less if you continue with the succesful defense you've used all game. We all know players made mistakes. It happens. Harbaugh made a conscience decision to play "safe", despite the fact that it almost never works.
Don't let a coach off the hook for bad calls and bad coaching just because some players made mistakes.

I disagree with you because John Harbaugh's plan did not involve Ray Rice fumbling deep in his own territory or Joe Flacco throwing an INT in his own territory. Both of those plays, combined with a CB allowing a receiver to get behind him on 3rd and long, are not the result of conservative game-calling by Harbaugh. That was clearly on the Ravens players on the field. Add in a few missed blitz pickups, and it's home for the rest of the playoffs.

I think the Ravens came out in the second half with the idea in mind that they would play safe football. The first two plays were pretty much run into the line which set them up in third and long. Everyone knew a screen was coming. Even if Rice hadn't fumbled it would have been a three-and-out. To me, the Ravens came out in the second half playing not to lose.

This year's playoffs continue to emphasize that getting to the Super Bowl is a crap shoot. The best teams in the regular season almost never make it now. Going to a Super Bowl the previous year means nothing. It is a matter of making the fewest mistakes when you get to the playoffs.

Well as Packer time gets closer I find I'm actually getting nervous, me, Mason "Joe Cool, no sweat on my brow, it's just a game and not worth getting beat up over" Maniac. Part of it is that it's the bloody Bears ,which makes it more important. I was cool headed with the Eagles and chillin' the Falcons, but the arch rivals... you gotta beat those guys. Plus the fact that they are finally playing up to their capabilities has me thinking that we are SB champion material.
I've already bitten my fingernails down to the nub, there's nothing left to chew off on game day. Part of me thinks, "just go see a movie and save yourself the stress", but nah, I gotta see it. Nerves and stomach knots or not... Go Packers! Beat Da Bears!

This game shouldn't be nearly as close as it is. The Packers better be careful...
...as I'm typing this Cutler reminds me why the Packers may be able to get away with letting the Bears hang around all game.

THe Bears aren't getting any momentum.
Todd Collins isn't going to get it done.

I guess the Bears agreed. Hanie is QB for the rest of the game. Despite only throwing one pass (a good one), the Bears scored a TD to move within 7-14.

The Packers have brought this on themselves.

That's going to cost Peppers quite a bit of money.
I don't know what the Bears coaches and fans are complaining about. It was clearly a dirty hit.

I love seeing huge DT's score TD's.

Game over...
Each Bears QB with an interception. That's likely a playoff first (for 3 QBs to do it).
got time for the emergancy QB to get one too

Maybe not. Not if the Packers keep playing defense like that.

Collins actually didn't throw an Int, so I removed that comment.

This "offense" that the Packers are running right now is making me want to root against them. I know you want to run time off the clock but that first run had no chance with no WR's out wide. Then they run out of bounds on 2nd down...

I almost wish the Jets would come back and beat the Steelers. But then I would have to hear all week about how Sanchez made the comeback of the year...but I guess Packers vs. Steelers will be a good defenseive matchup. I just want someone on the packers to knock Ben out of the game...not concuss him, I mean just flatten him...he may be an elite QB but I still do not like him. But you never know, with this game going on right now, there are 60 minutes and you gotta play the whole game...the Jets could come back if their Defense can hold.

I feel like I watched two teams back into a Super Bowl. Both won playing not to lose and it nearly bit both of them in the ass.

Meh, I don't see the PIT/NYJ game that way. NY was in too deep of a hole and took way to long trying to come back.

Maybe is just me, but the game between GB vs. Chicago, was too tight and became boring. For a moment it made me forgot that it was a NFC Championship. Rodgers looked pressured at least at more than 4 passes where he threw authentic laser beams to their receivers, which made them have a difficult task for them to keep the ball.
Chicago was gray in their style again, as all season long. Their scheme is not a lossen one, and they seem to depend more on their luck than in their skills. Chicago doesn't have another big player, than Forte. Forte became in their warrior horse. I am really confussed in what type of QB Cutler is, or wants to be.
The AFC Game, decided the winner too early in the game. Their OL couldn't stop a rabid Pittsburgh's defense, their most useful WR was Edwards, Tomlinson took two steps back in his game. The run he had from Pittsburgh's 1 yd. line to score, I was very surpised that he didn't jump over the scrimmage line...leaving his team without a so needed TD.
The New York defense was never adjusted to their opponents so succesful rushing attack in thye first half. Mendenhall looked like he was having a practice game at so many moments of the first half, that I was just telling the friends with whom I was watching the game with, that I was expecting a faster adjust in a such important game, but it only "arose" at the second half, where Pittsburgh cooled their engines, since they were having a so good advantage in the score.
I think that Pittsburgh is a very strong team and, no matter how much it hurts to accept it...they look favorites to win the Super Bowl.

Bears/Packers wasn't boring to me. I was screaming my fool head off.
It was a typical game for the two this year.
As for the Superbowl, the Packers are going to love the fast turf at Dallas. And Rogers can do something neither Sanchez or Flacco can do... mimic Tom Brady. Hit 'em hard and hit 'em fast just like Tom does. If I were Rogers I'd study Brady's play vs the Steelers and especially that NE/Pit game from this season - that's the offensive key to scoring on the Steelers, and Aaron has to tools to do it.
At least I hope he does. (and lets not slight that defense, it's fast too and has some heavy hitters)
GO PACKERS!
