"I'd do anything for Mike,'' said Smith, who spent seven seasons under Heimerdinger in Denver. "Trust me, I know for a fact if Mike Heimerdinger didn't come into my career when he did there would be no two Super Bowl rings for me and everything else I had in my career. I tell him that all the time.
"So Kenny couldn't be going to a better spot. I learned everything from Mike, and now Kenny's going to get it first-hand himself. They're going to be great for one another.''

I wish Dinger would ask Smith to be our WR coach.

I just had a brain storm. Invite all the high school QB's from the mid-state to BSP, throw to the WR's. We'll see real fast who can/can't make adjustments on the fly :lol

What if some of the high school QB's are more accurate than Vince? :ohmy

I have this mental image of Flipper trying to catch a brick. :ohmy
I keep waiting for one of the players to hurt themselves on a brick in one of these drills. Could you imagine the outcry?

Being from Colorado, I think Rod Smith would be an awsome WR Coach. Go Titans!

Another observation on Britt from Gary Estwick's blog...
WATCHING No. 1 draft pick Kenny Britt run routes Friday afternoon at Baptist Sports Park was like watching Bruce Boxleitner ride a light cycle in the movie Tron (circa 1982). His receiver route were crisp, the way he forced cornerbacks to back up, giving him space to cut inside for a deep post. Or he worked his way back to the ball a with couple of steps, then made it upfield before the cornerback could do anything about it.
