Elway doesn't like tebow..

New Broncos VP of Football Operations John Elway told SI's Peter King that he does not believe Tim Tebow is a good NFL quarterback.
It appears Elway will not be gearing his head coaching search toward a Tebow backer. "I don’t think Tim Tebow is a good NFL quarterback at this time," said Elway. King believes that the Broncos may try to trade Tebow, and Minnesota makes plenty of sense if Josh McDaniels is hired as offensive coordinator. The Vikings need a quarterback. McDaniels, of course, traded up to select Tebow with the 25th overall pick in last year's draft

johnelway To clarify my thoughts on Tim Tebow... I think he's a very good football player, and if anyone can turn themselves into a great QB, Tim can.
Typical John being the ass that he's known to be.

Attempting to perform damage control, Broncos VP of Football Operations John Elway tweeted Saturday that the team is not looking to trade Tim Tebow.
"Any speculation that the Denver Broncos are considering moving Tim is completely false," said Elway. On the job just four days, Elway got himself in trouble by telling SI's Peter King that he doesn't believe Tebow is a "good NFL quarterback at this time." Elway did insist that Tebow is a "good football player." Regardless, this latest debacle will do nothing to quiet the notion that Elway is out of his league as the head of an organization.

I didn't like Tebow coming out of college. That said, he played better than I expected in his 3 game tryout. I think Elway would be possibly shortchanging the Broncos by giving up on him already, if that is the case. I'm still not sure if Tebow will make it as a starter, but I think he has earned a full-season audition based on those last 3 games.

Star players being put in charge of organizations simply because they were a star when they played rarely works out.

Elway might be right about Tebow but he's also proving all his doubters right by continuing to open his mouth. He'd be so much better off if he didn't talk to the media.

I read that Elway took the office at used by the head coaches.
