For those of you that can't stay up late.:D

Quite a bit of coverage last night. A lot of film of the rookies at the orientations, mostly doing some passing drills, but also some funny shots of Dinger with a couple of guys. Lots of locker room interviews etc. It seems like a good bunch of picks at this point. :) For sure Britt and Cook can JUMP and CATCH at the same time.

Maybe the most interesting thing was a couple of short interviews with Craig Hentrich (on the golf course). He talked about how old he felt last year, everything hurt when he got up etc. He said that he decided if he was coming back, he was going to have to change things. He got with a doctor, I can't remember where, maybe VA, who is a nutritionist etc. He has lost 29 lbs :ohmy:ohmy:ohmy, and says he feels like he's twenty years old, and that he has NEVER felt this good or been in this kind of condition. Good news for us I think.:thumbsup

I didn't know that he has had a torn ACL in his kicking leg since college(in a game against UT). Said he's made it for 18 years without it so far.

Wide receiver Kenny Britt provided a highlight-film catch on his first day as a Titan, leaping to grab a ball while fighting off a defender. In a game, it would’ve been a touchdown.

...

Offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger is taking a more of a wait-and-see approach. After all, the players practiced in helmets, jerseys and shorts, and the veterans weren’t present.

“Any time we get competition it’s a good thing,’’ Heimerdinger said. “But you don’t find out if they’re weapons until we get some defensive guys out there jamming them in pads.

I agree with Dinger. These guys need to wait until they play against the team veterans to see how much of the things done are realistic. (now, if they play against a Rey Hill...we know that the outcome isn't a realistic one as well :D )
