According to Forbes Magazine the Jacksonville Jaguars are the least valuable team in the NFL.

The #1 spot in the NFL (#2 worldwide) is held by the Cowboys at $1.81 billion.

The AFC South shapes up like this:

Texans $1.17 billion (#5 NFL, #9 world)
Colts $1.04 billion (#11 NFL, #16 world)
Titans $994 million (#18 NFL, #24 world)
Jaguars $725 million (#32 NFL, #45 world)

One tiny bright spot for the worth less Jags:

They beat out all NHL and NBA teams in terms of value...

...but they still suck. :lmao

The most valuable sports franchise in the world?
Manchester United (the other Futbol) at a staggering $1.86 billion.

The Jaguars were worth $140 mil in 1995. I'm not feeling too bad for Wayne Weaver.

everyone keeps saying LA needs a team but it seems everytime a team goes there it doesn't last long. As big a TV market as LA is I think it will suffer from some of the same probs the Tarptown Hags suffer from in FL.
1. Most of the people in the area are already fans of other teams.
2. There are just so many other things to do then spend a day in a crime infested part of town on a hot day watching a losing team.

Remind me when was the last time a team was ever given a chance to succeed in LA. The Raiders were screwed playing in the Coliseum and had no shot at ever making it in the modern NFL. The Rams didn't play in LA. Orange County and Los Angeles are two entirely different cultures, lifestyles, etc..

just being moved to the area is being "given a chance" isn't it? there are major probs with moving a team there. It's not like the team will have a built in fan base just by moving there, unless it's the Squeelers and they won't be moving. The only teams on the list with a probability to move are losing teams like the Hags or the Bills and they won't have many followers, let alone true fans, in the area. Most NFL fans in that area are fans of other teams, much like those around Tarptown, Fl and they won't be switching teams for a losing team.

As for the culture, it's all the land of fruits and nuts, not much difference in that area and it still stands that the people, fruit or nut, will most likely do something else rather than go to the game on Sunday.

This just isn't true.

1) Without a new stadium the Raiders never had a chance. They had to play in the Coliseum which is real old, in a horrible area for both public transportation and because of the people living around there, and it didn't have the luxury boxes that major NFL teams need.
2) The team most likely to move to LA is the Chargers. They have a large following in Southern California.
3) If the new stadium is built right next to the Staples Center then it will become a huge draw for fans.

Now I will say this. Californians are not in a hurry to pay for a new stadium (nor should they be with their economy) and it will most likely take a lot of financial support from the NFL team that moves there. LA fans would love to have a team of their own there and would easily sell out. With that said, they are like me and are fine with just watching games on tv. Watching football on tv (as long as you have a nice good turnout at your house) can often times be much cheaper and an even better experience.

guess we'll just have to wait and see, and I promise I won't say "told ya so"

There is zero chance that the Jags are going to LA. I hope that is perfectly clear. Wayne Weaver is adamant about that. http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2011/06/14/jaguars-not-interested-in-moving-to-los-angeles/

That bears repeating.

Yet all these owners have lost so much money. They can barely make it.

Sarcasm.
