Really?!? :ohmy
I just don't see Haynesworth and Bellichick getting along too well. This should be interesting.
Man, Washington lost a ton of money getting Haynesworth, and all they are getting is a 5th rounder for their troubles.

I was surprised when I read it at 6:15 this morning. Oh well Bill will boot his ass faster than Shannahan did if he doesn't work out.

A 5th in 2013 translates to Washington saying just get him the Hell out of here!
I was curious how he'd do in the Pats 3-4 Defense since he seems to have a hatred for the 3-4, but I read where the Pats run that defense only 40% of the time, so that should give Albert quite a bit of opportunity in packages that are more suited to him.

Bill is known for turning troubled players into standout players so it does'nt surprise me.

I was also scratching my head also, when I heard about this signing.

Talk about being rewarded for bad behavior. Can't root for the Pats at all. Fat Al doesn't deserve this.

Haynesworth failed to show up for practice today. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/Albert-Haynesworth-New-England-Patriots-missing-practice-073011
"There are things that we still need to do with Albert for him to be able to get on the practice field," Patriots head coach Bill Belichick said.
Belichick did not elaborate on the star defensive lineman's absence when pressed.
This is such a "when worlds collide" situation. Crazy.
