who will be the best NFL Qb? i figure bradford will be the popular pick but im gonna go with Tebow...i think tebow would be AWESOME as a titan because he would fit in so well...lets see....1. Tough 2. A winner 3. not a traditonal QB 4. leader 5. ability to make those around him better 6. run your ass over (and none of that he wont do that in the pros...i GUARANTEE someone gets tebowed)
sounds like Mac 9 to me....all the doubters will critque him but tebow has that LeBron James aura about him
i was at the SEC Title game this past year and WATCHED him affect the entire game....i know that doesnt mean much but you dont get the true Tebow affect until you see it in person... :toast

Unless he performed more circumcisions during the commercial break, I saw the same Tebow you did. Underwhelming QB.
Bradford needs to get bigger (and prove his worth without a dominant OL).
McCoy needs to prove he can make non-spread throws (20 yard ropes on the sideline/deep outs, etc.)
Tebow needs to show that he can do something other than heave it up to a 6'5 Louis Murphy or dump it off in the backfield to Moody/Harvin.
Neither Bradford or McCoy has prototypical size and none of them are coming out of the ideal offense so they have that working against them.
Right now, my non-biased pick is McCoy, slightly ahead of Bradford. Tebow is unanimously last.

yeah forget that he threw what 3 or 4 ints all year? so hmm he takes care of the ball but that isnt important...
he BEAT bradford on the field with a less than 100 percent harvin...granted Murray was out for OU...and i dont wanna hear FLA has more talent than OU...

He also had (between the 3) the lowest completion percentage, lowest QB rating, fewest passing attempts (135 less than McCoy/185 less than Bradford), obviously the least passing yards (1100 less than McCoy/1900 less than Bradford), and for all his heralded rushing ability he only had 110 more yards than McCoy with a lower YPC and only 1 more TD on 40 more attempts than Colt.
Tebow has much to prove this year.

Tebow will never be anything in the NFL....McCoy is the best out of the 3, not that I want any of them on the Titans.

who said teabow is even going to the draft?
isnt he always saying after college, he might hold out a year or two out of football to go do mission work?

Jevan Snead - QB - Ole Miss
IMO, he is the best NFL prospect
Big 10 QB's mehhh, no defense, they worry me
Tebow hasn't shown enough arm
Snead passes the eye test with me as far as NFL tools

I'm a bit skeptical of "NFL tools" guys... Average production all through college but they get pegged by Kiper and Co. as the most NFL-ready because of some left-field intangibles or prototypical measurements. For the most part, if you can't produce in college, how the hell do you expect to be successful in the NFL? But I'll have my eye on him this year...

McCoy has the best NFL career out of the three in my opinion.

Not just the tools. Snead took over a team that was terrible the year before, started off slowly in 2008 and finished ranked in the top 10 last season. Sometime in the middle of the season it clicked for him and he took the team to another level.
He was able to put up good, not great, numbers against IMO, the best defensive conference in the country.
Something about QB's on teams like Florida, Texas, OU loaded with NFL talent on the offensive side of the ball scare me. For the most part the have clean pockets, and superior weapons all over the field. I'm not saying McCoy or Bradford won't make it in the NFL, but it would be nice to see a little competition/adversity more than twice a season to get a better gauge on them.
We will have to wait and see.

Maybe to NFL scouts but as a college QB he has absolutely nothing to prove. McCoy and Bradford played in a conference where defense means very little as evidenced by the Big 12's bowl performances. I'm not 100% sold on either of the three being a top-notch NFL QB at this point, but of the three I'd take Tebow over the other two at this point.

Not sure about Snead doing better than McCoy. I know he has developed since he left Texas but, he couldnt keep up with McCoy there. Best out of McCoy and Bradford depends on who ends up in Minnesota

Sammy definately has the better arm than ole god all mighty himself "tebow" and McCoy. I agree he still needs to get better but he was only a sophmore last season. Look at what the kid has done in 2 years throwing the ball. McCoy is definately more mobile but sam can put the ball where ever he needs it to go. I dont think that because Tebow has had an unbelievable collegiate career doesnt make him a first day pick.
I dont know that any of the three will even make it in the NFL for that matter. I am sure that all three can get there but being productive is another thing.
And I dont think That Just knowing Tebow will be enough to get a team to a championship.

I agree. Big 12's best "QB" in the NFL right now is Seneca Wallace.

Exactly what I was thinking. Here is a question. How many succesful NFL QBs also have a College Championship title? Peyton Manning and Tom Brady don't.

isn't this the dude that couldn't beat out colt mccoy for the starting QB spot at Texas so he transfered?

Zephyr, I ran across this blurb on Vic Ketchum's blog and thought you might be interested....
Ryan from West Chester, OH
“Three players I saw last season interest me: Jevan Snead, Daryll Clark and Tony Pike.” I'm just curious as to what you saw that got you interested in those three last season? Being a daily reader, I'm well aware of the utmost importance you place on clutch, big-game quarterbacks that get it done when it matters, yet, you mention Pike, who, other than the opening drive, struggled when it mattered most in the Orange Bowl (16/33 and four picks).
Vic: I said they interested me. I didn’t say I was sold on them. Snead and Clark are big guys who have live arms. Snead is a classic pocket-passer. He could be the first pick of next year’s draft. At 6-2, 230, Clark is a David Garrard clone. Clark is powerfully built and pulls out of rushers’ arms. The major concern for Clark is that he may be a one-year wonder. He has to do it again this season and he won’t have the strong cast of receivers he had last season. Pike came out of nowhere. I saw him have field days in a couple of Big East games last season and he impressed me with his natural passing ability. He has a gun. Some have compared him to Joe Flacco, but Pike has more mobility. The problem is that he is painfully thin and that’s a bit of a red flag. Yes, he played poorly in the Orange Bowl. The stage may have been too big for him and it may have been too big for the Cincinnati program. It was also a very windy night. Either way, I don’t think any scout is going to write a guy off because he had one bad game.
