We want HOLT!!! Not some bum ass loser WR from the University of Technical Support & Community College in Indiana somewhere who we draft with the 7th rounder. Add Holt to the list in good faith. Then I am sure it will happen.

Don't forget that one of the best recievers we have had as the Titans was an undrafted free agent.

My main problem with Holt is that the Titans have had no success with older receivers. I would much rather take our chances with Nate Washington that Holt.

Holt has had two seasons in his career where he didn't reach 1k i think, I'll take my chances with him.

there are injury concerns with holt.
one wonders if the jags saw something in a physical that made them have concerns.
you do get leadership with him but they also need speed and not just sure hands.
so it would have to be a low contract for holt.

He runs perfect routes and has a pair of the best hands in the league.

What's with all the pessism and negativity! Sometimes this franchise gets "crazy" and spends a FOURTH round pick on a bum ass loser from a slightly bigger junior college. And it's always a guy who would have been good, except for that freak injury and his mental health. BUT... he had a good workout, so he must be a stud, despite not even starting in college or high school.

I nominate this as the most ignorant post of the new board. :crazy

You may hate the receivers, but you obviously know nothing about them. Every receiver we have drafted was a pretty good college football player. They were starters for major teams (mostly), or they were the best of a smaller conference team. I have had no problems with who we have drafted. It is just a matter of developing them or getting them to fit our system, and that seems to be the issue.

You could say the bolded part about damn near every receiver that gets drafted. But I agree on the developmental issue, I almost think we need to start looking for a new WR coach.

WRs coach, possibly. But also the Titans are a run happy team, not exactly the best environment for WRs who want to make big plays.

Zonian,
One thing about Rey Hill- for four years, he was on an NFL team and collected a paycheck.
His departure is a definite gain for the team:hehe

Somebody needs to call up Tonya Harding and get one of her goons to break J Macs knnes before we resign him.

There were points last season where I was sure this had already happened.
