so how does it go? Gage, Washington, Britt, Hawkins? Did we release McCareins? I want to see the Hawk on the field this season, a lot, and it would be nice if they threw him the ball as well.
We need to line up 4 WR's and have some fun, then run the ball up the gut.

McCariens became a free agent and is current unsigned by any team.
My guess would be Gage and Washington as the main two receivers, with Hawkins and Brit getting their share when they can. The Titans likely cut either Paul Williams or Chris Davis, but not both unless we pick up someone else.

I think we're going to run much more 3 WR than 4, even on obvious passing plays, especially when they can work Cap'n Cook into the offense. Having a TE/WR hybrid can create serious mismatches, and leave holes for Chris Johnson Draws/RB Delay routes.
I think the defense will still be strong, but I still fear we'll feel the loss of Big Al, at least a little. However, I see our offense only being on the way up.
I'll gladly give up 3 more points per game if we can score 6 more :)

All that will be worked out in training camp. It will be interesting to see how it all unfolds.

I actually liked some of the other guys we drafted like Edison and Guice...I hope we give some of them a chance at least on the PS
As for clowns like PW and CD...be gone with them unless they turn into Jerry Rice in camp
I think the top 4 will be Gage, Washington, Britt, Hawkins....probably in that order

Hawkins is far from safe as many on here assume. It's been well-documented that he struggled with the playbook and route running last year. The Dinger doesn't seem to have a lot of confidence in the guy. He allowed McCareins to keep him on the bench last year even when it was apparent McCareins possessed Hands of Teflon. I see three receivers as "safe" right now - Gage, Washington, and Britt. The Titans may even bring in an aging veteran to bolster the corps sometime before or during camp.

I am looking forward to Drew Bennett's visit tomorrow and hoping he will be the veteran added to the wide receiver core. Yes, I confess that Drew has been my favoritie Titan since he joined the team as an undrafted free agent.

If Drew joins I think it will be:
1. Justin Gage
2. Nate Washington
3. Kenny Britt
4. Drew Bennett
5. Lavelle Hawkins
6. Edison/Williams/Davis

Our new TE would make a nice mis-match option in a 5 WR set.
