Ed made a mistake, but at least he owned up to it. Many other officials in all team sports would have completely avoided the subject, and some may have even defended their call.

I honestly say that I would not worry about Ed Hochuli refereeing a Titans game this season. Most of what happens to win or lose has nothing to do with the officiating anyway.

Hercules has always been my favorite ref, above and beyond his physique. When he makes a call I'm never in doubt as to why, minus that mistake. I won't hold it against him.
