Theres a couple of new videos on titansonline.com of Jeff Fisher and Kerry Collins interviews from today after practice. Collins brought up jared cook right towards the beginning just saying they are excited to have got him in the 3rd round.

Titans practice observations from Tuesday

The Titans spent plenty of time working on the deep ball in Tuesday's minicamp, and players on both sides of the ball used it as a chance to make plays.


Quarterback Kerry Collins connected on a beautiful 45-yard pass downfield to receiver Nate Washington, which went for a touchdown. A few plays earlier Washington dropped a mid-range pass right in his hands.


Later, receiver Lavelle Hawkins made a nifty catch and run. Later, however, Hawkins got an earful from offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger after screwing up a route.


Quarterback Vince Young also got in the act. Young was on the money with a throw to Washington, which just got past the out-stretched hand on linebacker Josh Stamer.


But it was a day when the defense made plenty of plays as well.


Safety Michael Griffin had a nice breakup on a ball intended for Washington, and later cornerback Cortland Finnegan broke up a deep ball to receiver Justin Gage right at the goal line.


One of the best plays of the day, however, came from veteran DeMarcus Faggins, who stretched out to bat a ball away from Gage just as it was nearing it's mark. Faggins was signed this offseason after playing previously with the Texans.
