I like Vandy's bracket. MTSU will be a tough first game, and MTSU did beat them earlier this year, but Vandy is playing much better. And Louisville isn't far for Vandy fans to travel to.

Tennesse Tech fans aren't that far away in Clemson.

I am a bit surprised to see so few west coast teams in this year's tourney. Usually there are more.

MTSU beat Vandy yesterday 5-4, but Vandy came back with a vengance today, crushing Indiana 10-0. They await the loser of MTSU-Loiusville.

Tennessee Tech also eliminated Alabama today.

Louisville beat MTSU tonight 3-2.

So it took 25 innings... but the Horns beat Boston College 3-2.



That's right.. 25 innings and 5 total runs scored (and the Horns had only scraped 3 R out of 20 hits).

Vandy has had a great day today beating MTSU, and barring a late inning collapse, they will play Louiville again tomorrow for the regional championship.

Update: Region championship tonight at 6 PM.

Only Ole Miss survived yesterday out of the three (and they were the one team I wanted to lose since they played WKU). :(

Vandy is great at getting 2nd place in baseball. It's a lot better than last, but it seems like every year they make it to a championship of the conference and regional, only to fall short at the end.

my NOLES put it on ohio state didnt they lol we had a funtction at church siinday afternoon and i was going to my in laws house to watch the game but i got an update via text message that it was 20-0 in the second i said nevermind and just stayed longer lol

Meh, it's college baseball - the red-headed stepchild of collegiate sports, so what? The Tennessean had it buried on like page 4 today. You'd never see that from the NCAA football championship game or March Madness. More people probably watch the NCAA gymnastics championships. :lol
