I know we don't talk a lot of NBA hoops here, but I want to give a big congrats to our state's professional basketball team for making their first ever conference finals. Oklahoma City wasn't 100%, but they were still a very good team, and Memphis had to play very tough to win these four games. Each one was decided late.

They play the winner of Spurs-Warriors.

Good close games. Both teams fought very hard. Grats to the Grizz and their fans. Good luck in the West Finals!

Here in OKC, lots of knee jerk reactions, (fire Brooks, amnesty Perk, trade Perk/Ibaka/Lamb/insert player here, lots of griping about the Harden trade to the Rockets). My opinion is that no team in the playoffs plans for injury to it's superstar(s) and that the people who doubted Westbrook's value to the Thunder have learned that value.

Thunder'll be back next year....

No doubt Westbrook is vital to the Thunder. As far as Harden, yep they should have kept him. That would be like the Spurs trading Ginobli.Tough break for the Thunder. Durant had a wide open look the last possesion too. He would normally hit that shot 9 out of 10 times.

My inclination is that the beard wanted to be "the man" and paid as such. My understanding is that he turned down nearly 50 mil over 4 years. I truly believe that they tried to keep him on board and that it was his call to leave. He did a good job for the Rockets this year.

The Thunder got Jeremy Lamb in the trade for Harden. I look for him to play more next year.

The Grizzlies lost again, but they came back and took it to OT. Hopefully, this will be like the Clippers series, where they lost the first two and then took over the series at home.

That will be enough of that.

Losing games 2 and 3 in OT did them in. They had a lot of close games in the first two series, and they were lucky to be on the winning side in most of those. This time they were on the wrong side, and it cost them.

Still, they went farther than the Preds ever have, and the Titans have only reached that level twice. It was a good run.

Oh there it is... the comparison to hockey. Not like winning the Stanley Cup is the hardest trophy in sports to win.

I think every sport has a tough championship to win.

It doesn't take 16 wins a tournament to win.....

True, 16 wins is one thing, but a Super Bowl takes 47 years and counting........... :lol
