What players are you most excited to watch this upcoming preseason?
hows about 5 offensive, and 5 defensive, and why?
Offense:
1. V.Young-obviously like everyone else, hoping he shows improvement, so we don't waste another top 10 pick (pacman)
2.Britt- again obvious wanna see if he can do anything special, rather it be rn after the catch, good route running, good catching-sumthing to get excited about for the season.
3. Cook-kinda same as above, but i wanna see if "he's too big for a corner/ too fast for a LB" is actually true. Even if the balls that get thrown to him are bad throws, i would be excited to see him at least get open with ease against LBs/CBs.
4. C.Henry- kinda same reasons as Young, I just hate it when we waste 1st/2nd round draft picks, so i'm really hoping he gets the chance in preseason to show what he can do. He's got all the tools, now its time to put it all together.
5.N.Washington- I did watch sum steelers game's over the years, but never actually remembered him stand out. So i wanna see what he brings to the table. did we just sign another slot WR/ # 2 guy, or can this guys be a playmaker to the offense.
others- kropog/otto/durand-i'm curious to see how they play, but its hard to judge olineman on the TV coverage, cuz the cameras are never loyal to the lineman.
Defense:
1. S. Marks- same reasons as Henry above, i would hate to see this guy ride the bench, because he can't play. Now i know we have a deep Dline, so i hope his benching/not being active (if it happens) is only cuz the guys ahead of him are just a little better.
2. J. Haye- same as Washington only i've seen very few Bucs games over the years, so i really know nuthun about him. For nowhe seems like another tony brown/jason jones type, which are nice to have but i rather our 3rd DT be a big run stuffer. but we'll see
3/4.G. McRath/ S.Keglar- we've been lucky to not have serious injuries to our OLBs the past few years, so i wanna see if these guys can play and if Keglar progressed at all. Otherwise we may be in trouble if bulluck/thornton get hurt.
5.tie R.Mouton/D.faggins- i know the nickle spot belongs to fuller, but if Finn/harper go down, Fuller isn't going in. So it would be nice to know that one of those guys could step up. Now over the years faggins has seemed like a solid CB for the Texans, but then again the only times i was watching him was when he was going up against our WRs, so i'm not totally sold on him.
Others-King-see if he has the motor to make the team sum where
Cary Williams- word is he is catching on, he made a nice play last preseason hawking sum1 down if i remember correctly. Would like to see more
all i got, well i'm anxious to see everyone but these are the ones i'm most curious about...
so what's yours?

alright im down with this... here's my list
1.VY - would like to see how much he has progressed, not just passing & reading defenses, but is his running skills up to par with his college days.
2. WR corps - we know where Gage, Washington & Britt will mostly stand. but how hungry are the other guys to try to get PT this year. especially those tearing it up in camp (chris davis, mark jones) and of course lavelle "playbook is too hard" hawkins
3. lendale white - lets see how much better he looks and how it affects his play
4. RB depth - lets see who we can count on if he do lose CJ or Lendale this season.
5. Jared Cook - he makes me excited like a kid on christmas, he sounds like he's gonna beast it up this year.
Defense
1. Corner Depth - Faggins, Mouton, McCourty, id really like to see what these guys will bring to the table
2. Vickerson - Yes I am excited to see Haye, Marks, but he is the biggest DL on our roster now and I wanna see if he can be the guy we count on in running/goaline situations.
3. Dave Ball - apparently from the talk of washburn, this guy looks like starter material opposite side of KVB. and he was very productive last year. quite the journey man.
4. McGrath/keglar - agree with the post above..I wanna see if one of this guys can fill in due to injury or if we are left without imo the most important piece to our defense right now..keith bulluck.
5. Jacob Ford - ok ill be honest...im a Jacob Ford homer, but for the sake of a better reason...I think he may possibly be our best pass rusher & wanna see what he can do this pre season.
but something id really like to see this preseason..whose going to do our KR/PR this season. good time to get a few guys in there and see what they're made of.

Offense -
Kevin Mawae - It will be interesting to see how the combination of age and injury will play out for our starting center. Mawae is a great player, but can he be just as effective as before?
LenDale White - It took a contract year to do it, but LW finally looks the part of an NFL running back. Now the question is whether or not his streamlined new look will lead to an increase in production.
Kenny Britt - No one wants to see their first round selection bust and the Titans really need Britt to step up to the plate this season and contribute. For all the talk about not rushing him or pressuring him, etc, the Titans need him to be an impact player from day one.
Nate Washington - Will he truly be a difference maker opposite Gage or is this another in a long line of Titans' free agent WR busts?
Kerry Collins - I'm not as interested in what our backup QB does as I am the starter. Can Kerry do it again or was last season a fluke?
Runner-up - Chris Johnson. Can he avoid the dreaded sophomore slump?
Defense -
Jevon Kearse - He's aging and I'm sure he's read all the papers and heard the talking heads discussing whether Ball or Ford will start opposite KVB. Does he have a chip on his shoulder for being overlooked?
Ryan Fowler - He lost his starting job last season to Tully in the midst of a nightmare season for him personally. Can he bounce back and reclaim his job or at least push Tully?
Nick Harper - So the old man underwent eye surgery in the offseason to see the ball better. Perhaps he should have sought a leg transplant as well from someone with younger, fresher legs. His tackling skills are still excellent. Not many RB's get by him one-on-one in the open field, but his coverage skills began to look suspect as the season wore on last year. Like Mawae, he has some age on him for the position and is getting by on veteran savvy sometimes.
Cortland Finnegan - It's not a given that he returns to the Pro Bowl form. Much of his Pro Bowl ride was earned early in the year last season. People stopped testing him after they realized he's very opportunistic. He's a playmaker, but how much of that playmaking ability was owed to the dominance of the defensive line last year? How will he do without Haynesworth forcing opposing QB's into early throws?
Chuck Cecil - Have you ever been to a concert and a roadie or tech walk onto the stage testing a piece of equipment and everyone goes nuts thinking the show is about to begin? That's the lonesome scrutiny Cecil will endure this season. There are plenty of individuals in the Titans organization under a microscope this year. However, they're beneath the lense of one of those high school chemistry lab models while Cecil is in the crosshairs of the latest high-tech electron microscope. The Titans defense looked epic at times last season. It sure would have been nice to give the new defensive coordinator the luxury of the game's best defensive lineman to begin his regime.
Others -
Reinfeldt - This time next year, he will be either an idiot or a genius for not signing Haynesworth two years ago when they were so close to getting the deal done. If all goes well and the defense doesn't slip too badly (or by a miracle, improves), then he'll be lauded around BSP as a conquering hero. Hail, Caesar! Worse-case scenario though is that the defensive line doesn't get anywhere near the rush they did last year and the secondary is exposed as average while the entire defensive unit struggles. Letting Al go when they could have wrapped him up two years ago was a gamble. It'll be interesting to see if it pays off.

Offense:
Chris Johnson - There has been a long time since we had an explosive runner (as far as 2000 or 2001). This guy has the talent and it will be very exciting to see all his talk supported with great performances game after game.
Kerry Collins - Now that he has the starting job buckled up. I want to see Collins with good or better performances as 2008.
Bo Scaife - This guy is a talented TE. If the game plans take him into consideration, he can become that TE we haven't had since Wycheck.
Nate Washington - How is he going to get used and how well he can get adapted to our scheme. He had been looking for a No.1 WR, since Mason left. Is he the answer our team needs?
Jarred Cook - He has been having a solid OTA's. He is ahead of the rest of the rookies, as reports had been saying. He is studying two playbooks. He is the rookie player I am looking the most for 2009. Lets see what he got.
DEFENSE
Nick Harper: We need this guy playing at top notch level. Hopefully, his eye surgery fixes the issue and we can get to have a solid and much helpful Harper.
Michael Griffin: It's time for this guy to make strides in his pro career, and start stablishing himself as one of the best DB's in the NFL. A couple of seasons, have to be good enough for him to look for a much solid play.
Jason Jones: He is very talented and dominant. If Tony Brown is moving to the right side, Jones can well be a great starter for the left position.
Cortland Finnegan: He is a great DB. If he matures and realizes that not commiting silly penalties is as important, for this guy... the sky is the limit.

rod woodson on NFLN put him in his top 5 safties in the league.
I think within the next couple years..he will be top 3 maybe even the best saftey in the league. i hope he stays with us.
I wish he could lay some wood too..but he is quite the ballhawk and a defensive playmaker
