From Kuharsky's blog and a 20 minute podcast
We cover everything we could think of: durability, reliability, speed, versatility, leadership, blocking, complimentary pieces and the context of their teams.

Good solid debate. Hard to disagree with either side.
I'm wanting to see CJ do it again and then some to make up my mind.
But I do enjoy watching him play.:thumbsup

I agree it was a solid debate and it's hard for me to give CJ the edge because it was his first year.

im hoping the ego doesnt hurt him this year. We'll see if he can handle it all.

Drew loosing his behemoth to pound the rock might not be as good for his numbers as folks think. I dig Drew a ton, but he is still a small guy. Durability will play a factor this season. His heart is huge .. that might be a problem too when he is carrying the load. I hope I'm wrong.

I'll go with MJD right now because he's more proven.
Edit: Also MJD is a more well-rounded player. He catches the ball better than CJ. He's more versatile as the Jags haven't been afraid to use him on returns, etc. He's more multi-dimensional as a runner as well. While CJ will take the ball up the middle, he won't punish anyone. MJD will do that and in fact looks for contact. CJ takes what's there. CJ does have the edge over MJD in pure speed, but I'm not so sure he has the quicker feet. I also like MJD's initial burst better. In my opinion, those are the two most important yards in football right there because if your running game can't get started then you're usually sunk.
I'm not down on CJ at all. He has something you can't teach and that is his amazing top-end speed. He's young and does have room to grow. At this moment in time, if I had to choose a guy to start in my backfield it would be MJD.

I'm not sure if I would take CJ alone vs. MJD....But I would definately take CJ + LenDale over MJD.

I would even though MJD is still a much better receiver than LW and CJ put together.

I liked when MJD drilled Shawne Merriman.

I'm looking into this a little further into the future, and I can easily see C.J. turning into a Chad Ochocinco soon if someone doesn't set him straight. C.J. is very confident (which I like) but I hope his ego doesn't keep him from seeing the bigger picture (winning a title as a team).

The Jaguars suck so a CJ vs MJD debate is irrelevant to me...we still own the Jags .
