:crywow! what a very, very rough week. i am still at a loss for words, still in shock, and i still feel like a huge void is there, you know!:cry its SO HARD , i don't even know how to put exactly how i feel into words!! seeing both the funerals for steve, it in some way felt like it did when i was at my mothers funeral, watching her, just because of the fondness that i have for steve, for the day that i met him, which i will never forget! my heart goes out to the mcnair family, to all the friends that he has touched, everyone that he has touched. i know for us as titan nation, this week has been very, very hard, very surreal, and its gonna take a long time for me to get over this! I DON'T WANT TO LET STEVE GO i just don't!:cry I KNOW HIS FAMILY DOESN'T!
i could care less what the media says about mac, nothing will change my feelings about him, ever, because he like the rest of us , was human and made mistakes. i will focus on the great things he did both on and off the feild, and carry the memories he gave me to my final resting place.
WE ALL, WE ALL as titans fans, as titanites, awe mac, the honor of carrying on his legacy, and we will all do it, by taking our love for this team to new heights. the same passionl zeal that he had for the game, for playing the game, we will have to cheering our team on at LP feild ,at every home game this year, THAT IS WHAT WE OWE HIM. i strongly feel that way!
jeff fisher could not have said it any better:cry, we are a family! we are one , big titan family, the team, the organization and the fans, as a whole are one big family! the greatest honor to steve, is to come together as one, in a way that we never have before! the team will do their part on the feild, but we will do our part in the stands, because we are one team! we are, the tennessee titans! i bleed these colors to the very depths of my being, and i do even more so , after hearing fisher, and young speak! we need to be proud of what we have, and take that pride to newer heights! thats the greatest honor we can give steve! the grandest feast ever has a unquieness to it! this will, THIS WILL be a season for the ages! i believe that this team will honor mac this season with their place AND WE ARE GOING ALL THE WAY, WE WILL WIN THE SUPERBOWL, AND WE will do it for steve!!!:cry and oooh my, when we do! when we do titanites, what a story it will be!
" the titans come up one yard short, and now, 10 years later, they have won superbowl 44. steve mcnair has to be smiling down from the heavens above, he is smiling down on this team". i can here the announcer saying it now, to the thunderous roar of 50 to 60 thousand, screaming titanites!! listen to it!! listen to it!!
look up titanites, look up! do not let anything, ANYTHING that anyone says to you, take away your pride of being a fan of this team! the real magic of being a titans fan, is the family atomosphere that we as fans share with the team, the connnection, how special this is!!! look up titanites! now if you are with me, by god, slap me!!! its time right now, today, from this day forward, to take this thing up another notch! oh them dancing shoes are a flapping!! by god!!
