I created an account on image shack called TitansTailgate for us to post photo's just in case bandwidth becomes an issue. Should we be careful about posting too many pictures this year? I'm not sure where we stand on that issue.

I'm confused, (so what else is new?) all of the pictures I've posted have been linked to ImageShack and PhotoBucket. Have they been a burden to the system? How do I know if my pictures I'm posting are counting against the "bandwidth" or not???

AFC SOUTH

TENNESSEE TITANS (13-3)

OPEN CAMP: July 31, Baptist Sports Park, Nashville, Tenn.

LAST YEAR: The Titans started 10-0 and won the AFC's No. 1 seed after veteran QB Kerry Collins took over for an injured Vince Young in the opener. But the Titans lost 13-10 to Baltimore in the divisional round after losing Pro Bowl rookie RB Chris Johnson to a sprained ankle late in the first half.

KEY CHANGES: DT Albert Haynesworth left for big money in Washington, while defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz now is the head coach in Detroit. KR Chris Carr joined Baltimore, and WR Brandon Jones signed with San Francisco. He was replaced by WR Nate Washington, who already is in a starting spot. DT Jovan Haye was signed for depth along with QB Patrick Ramsey. Draft picks WR Kenny Britt and DT Sen'Derrick Marks will be asked only to provide depth, while athletic TE Jared Cook has shown early promise. Chuck Cecil was promoted to defensive coordinator.

CAMP NEEDS: Work All-Pro C Kevin Mawae back onto the field after surgery to fix a tendon in his right, snapping arm. Lots of playing time to see how much Young has learned heading into his fourth NFL season, and whether Ramsey can take the backup job away from the 2006 top offensive rookie. Get Cecil comfortable calling the defense before the opener at Pittsburgh.

EXPECTATIONS: The Titans feel Pittsburgh won the Super Bowl they failed to grab. With 13 players hitting free agency after this season, 2009 may be their best shot at the franchise's first Super Bowl trip in a decade. Jeff Fisher, the NFL's longest-tenured coach with one team, has a lighter camp schedule he hopes has Tennessee ready to open strong.

Preview from PK

Tennessee Titans

Training camp site: Nashville

The Kerry Collins-Justin Gage connection will be critical to the Titans' success this year.

Campfires: Start at receiver, where Justin Gage and Nate Washington will line up as the starters. The hope is that No. 1 draft pick Kenny Britt will win the No. 3 spot and second-year man Lavelle Hawkins will be fourth in line. But beyond that? Chris Davis had a very good offseason and has additional value as a returner.

One guy won't replace Albert Haynesworth. The Titans will throw numbers at defensive tackle more than ever, which means plenty of snaps for Tony Brown, Jason Jones and Jovon Haye. Second-rounder Sen'Derrick Marks will fight to be in the mix as will Kevin Vickerson, the biggest interior lineman in the post-Haynesworth group.

The worst hit to depth came at cornerback, where Eric King went to Detroit and Chris Carr to Baltimore. DeMarcus Faggins, Ryan Mouton, Cary Williams and Jason McCourty will battle for the top backup slots. Carr's departure also created openings at the return jobs, where receiver Mark Jones will be a primary contender.

Camp will be a downer if: Chris Johnson shows any signs of something we could label a sophomore slump. The second-year running back tweeted up a storm in the offseason and talked about how he couldn't be part of a Smash-and-Dash duo with LenDale White anymore because he needed to stand on his own.

The guy is explosive and electric, but hopefully he arrives focused and stays locked in and healthy through the preseason and beyond. If not, the Titans could have an issue.

Camp will be a success if: The Titans can mix in some blitzes to help make up for what's lost with Haynesworth, defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch can show he's back to form and the passing offense grows with some new pieces in the second year of Mike Heimerdinger's second stint.

If Kerry Collins can build on what he started with Gage and Bo Scaife last season and is able to build new rapport with Washington, Britt and Jared Cook, the Titans will feel good about their ability to complement an effective run game with the pass.

9 years ago I had purchased tickets for my son and I to attend our first Titan game played in Tennessee. I had never been to Nashville and knew not a soul. I logged onto the Titans Message board and asked about the seats we had purchased, I was hoping that somebody might respond but did not expect too much, you see I was a complete stranger from far away. My plan was to log back on in a week and see if there was a response.

To MY SURPISE:

Within 30 seconds of my post I was welcomed openly and honestly to the message board. I was informed all about the seats I had purchsed and where exacly they were located. Furthermore, as if that wasn't enough, my son and I were invited to eat and drink at a tailgate by the Stadium inn. Nothing was asked in return for this act of Kindness.... I have come to Nashville EVERY year since and will continue to do so.

BTW..... MIKE MCFAN was the gentleman who answered my first post in less than a minute. Just thought I would share that.

Things can certainly change along the way, but I wanted to share my training camp plan as it stands today.

Here's where I will be when:

* Titans -- July 31 through Aug. 4
* Jaguars -- Aug. 5 through Aug. 8
* Colts -- Aug. 11 through Aug. 14 (including game vs. Vikings)
* Titans -- Aug. 15 game vs. Tampa Bay and Aug. 17
* Texans -- Aug. 18 through 20, quick trip to Dallas for Cowboys-Titans Aug. 21, back to Houston for Texans-Saints game Aug. 22
* Titans -- Aug. 24 through 26

Keep in mind the Jaguars break camp Aug. 13, the Colts Aug. 19, the Texans Aug. 21 and the Titans Aug. 26.

I'll cover my first practice of training camp season Friday afternoon when the Titans hit the field.

Throughout camps, when I will spend time with all four teams of the AFC South, you'll get a steady stream of blog postings.

But smaller nuggets of info will come via Twitter and Facebook, which is while I suggest you sign up to connect with the AFC South Blog on both.

If something big happens or I find something interesting, I'll tweet it. That will also show up as a status update on Facebook. All my blog posts land in both those spots, too.

Link up with me on Twitter here, and make a friend request here on Facebook.

There is no fine print to this offer, and as incentive I pledge to draw from random new followers and friends to award some small prizes. (It's a concept I lifted from Kevin Seifert.)

I'm looking forward to interrupting your day with updates. You ready?
