as much of a texas fan I am...unless they can find an offense that's more than just McCoy I don't think they'll win the championship. but anyways... Hook Em' Horns!!

This could be a good year for Texas. If Colt stays in all of the games...I think my Horns could go all of the way. The big "if" factor is the O-line protecting Colt. Sometimes I think Greg Davis thinks Colt (while he can run and scramble pretty well) is still VY in 2005...

ACC- Virginia Tech - Can't see anybody in the ACC hanging with them this year, although GA Tech might surprise.
Big 12- Oklahoma - Sorry Texas fans, but you'll have to deal with this again this year too, only this time perhaps voters won't buy into the conference being deserving based on big offensive numbers ran up because no one bothers to play defense. The Sooners get a BCS game but not the big one.
Big 10- Michigan State - It all comes down to the final game of the season between Michigan State and Penn State. The Spartans are at home, so I give them the nod.
Big East- Rutgers - My surprise pick.
Pac 10- USC - As much as I'd like to see Oregon State or UCLA break the Trojan domination, it's not going to happen.
Sec- Florida - The undisputed class of college football. They have the best team, play in the best conference, and have the country's best player.
Nat'l Championship: Florida vs. USC
National Champion: Florida

ACC- Georgia Tech- They have an incredible running game and VT is way overhyped.
Big 12- Oklahoma- As much as I like Texas OK just seems to have the better regular season team and no one from the North is gonna beat them.
Big 10- Penn St.- Joe Pa takes care of business.
Big East- West Virginia- Noel Divine is insanely good, get him the ball.
Pac 10- USC- No one else in that conference is gonna beat them.
SEC- Alabama- Yes, homer pick, but everyone is gonna be completely surprised by how good the passing game is with McElroy (he's way better than J.P. Wilson already) and the rushing game only got better with one of the best Freshman RB's in the country coming in and a huge amount of talented depth at o-line. The defense is back with everyone except for two starters who can be made up for.
National Championship: Alabama vs. Oklahoma
National Champion: Alabama

ACC- who cares who wins the ACC.. im as interested in this as the WAC... Ill punt and say VT
Big 12- Texas - better running game this year than last (hopefully)
Big 10- Ohio State - Terrelle Pryor is too good
Big East- West Virginia- they own the big east
Pac 10- USC - just because they are USC but, I really wouldnt be suprised if they are upset this year.
SEC- Florida - Tim Tebow

Notre Dame goes 6-6 last year and they get put at #23 while Utah is just #18 after having a perfect season? These polls are just crazy.

My prediction: Michigan goes to a lower tier bowl game in RichRod's 2nd year. I am saying 6-7 wins. They will have the best RB's in the conference, and a veteran O-Line. And best of all - a REAL QB by the name of Tate Forcier. If he can play half as good as Henne did when he was a freshman then the team will be solid on offense. On D they return with Brandan Graham, who is one of the best D-Lineman in the country, they add a 5-star DT the size of Haynesworth up front, and they also bring back most of the secondary minus 1 starting safety who sucked since he donned the helmet. Special teams is going to be good as usual too. so I am saying that 8 wins is possible but 7 is probably right...
W-Western Michigan-It's gonna be a snoozer
W-Notre Dame-Hard one but I think Michigan can pull it out
W-Eastern Michigan-Easy win
W-Indiana-Big 10 opener against the worst B10 team
W@ Michigan State-They hung in with them last year and this year there is no javon ringer
L-@ Iowa-Too tough and strong for them
W-Delaware State-Should be an easy win
L-Penn State-Best Penn state team in years that is very strong and tough=Loss
L-@ Illinois-Too much firepower for Michigan
W-Purdue-Should be able to beat them by running the ball down their throats
W-@ Wisconsin-Wisc is falling apart it seems and is no better than Michigan last year
L-Ohio State-I predict a close game with Michigan losing its 6th in a row at the end
That makes their record 8-4 with a birth most likely in the Champs Sports Bowl where hopefully they would win, giving great momentum for the 2010 season at the newly renovated big house.
2010 - 9 wins
2011 - Competing for BCS games
OVERALL, I see the conference standings shking out like this:
1. tO$U
2. PSU
3. Illinois
4. Michigan
5. Iowa
6. Michigan St.
7. Minnesota
8. Wisconsin
9. Northwestern
10. Purdue
11. Indiana

Correction, Pac-10 champ will be either Beavs/Trojans/Bears, I don't know enough about the Pac-10 to decide.
Sure as hell won't be Oregon...

I'd be right on track if it wasn't for Sam Bradford goin down. Ya never know though. I mean if they win out and the Big 12 they still have a chance depending on what USC and Penn St. do.
Oh and btw, McElroy has already entered Alabama history. Tonight he became the only quarterback in Alabama history to complete 14 passes consecutively. He's very good, much better than what we had last year.
