I'm uploading my photo's and will post my thoughts in a bit. Overall, a little sloppy just like first day practice always is. Vince made a really nice throw to Jared Cook. :) Thought some might want to hear that.

Sorry if I'm repeating a lot of what's in the other reports. I haven't read them. Jevon lined up at LE today in first team reps. I didn't get to watch the Dline much today b/c I wanted to watch the offense but I will focus on Dline in the next few days. KVB does seem back to form. In team drills the D did seem to do very well.

Let me just go ahead and talk about Vince and get it out of the way. His mechanics appear much improved. Accuracy is still a bit of an issue but it was with every one of the QB's to some extent. Ramsey had a pretty rough day. Kerry threw I know one bad ball but I honestly don't remember more than one but there could have been.

Lendale seems quicker. I didn't see him drop any passes. I thought he looked good. CJ dropped I know one pass just like he did last year trying to turn it upfield too soon. He made a nice catch too though. Nate Washington I've already talked about his speed. He looked pretty good too and so did 12Gage. I saw 12Gage make a few really nice catches from Kerry.

I want to talk about some new guys. Primarily Jared Cook. That dude is a beast. Seriously. He lined up everywhere and he's just so freakin' big and fast. I'll be highly surprised if he's not in the mix early on, possibly day 1.

McCorty is fast. Very fast. Griff fast. Whether that translates to anything who knows but it's better to have it than not, no?

I didn't see much of Javon Ringer. I'll try and pay more attention in the next few days.

Mark Jones and Chris Davis took ST reps at the return position.

After practice Coach took some newer players and gave them extra reps. Paul Williams, Cook, Ringer and McCorty are the only ones I watched and it's hard to get a feel because it wasn't first or even second team reps but to me that says we are trying to get them ready early. Read into it what you will however.

EDIT: I guess I should clarify about Paul Williams. I think he was more just someone to run the drills to allow some other guys to get reps. He really struggled today in ST and in WR drills. I think he was asked to provide extra reps for the others.

I didn't watch the LB's as much either but I will do that as well. I'm not terribly concerned there really. Keith is going to be awesome and is primed for a big year I think. So will Thornton. We'll see if Tully makes another leap in his game but Fowler is more than capable of filling in.

Robbie wasn't dressed. IDK why or why not but really how much practice does he need? Heintrich looked good. He had one really good punt that I remember.

CJ was on "The Zone" after practice-he's pretty funny, and it was a good interview. One thing that struck me was when they asked him about staying away from the OTA'a and working out elsewhere. He wasn't defensive, but said that he works out with these (Titans) guys all the time. He worked in Orlando, and then in CA, and pointed out that he was working with world class athletes, and learning new things to help him be better. :)

They asked him if he could become the best running back in the game and he said, "I'm a coaches dream" and got a big laugh.

He sounds ready.

If it's one of the posters doing the updates... it's possible they're pumping up Ramsey because they've got an anti-Vince agenda. Wouldn't surprise me in the least.

Also, I forgot to say that Vinnie Fuller looks good and made one really good play yesterday that I remember. I'm so glad we re-signed him.

Lendale is trim and thanks for the pics!

Ryan, KB is my favorite model - probably 6% body fat, proportioned body/frame and cut razor sharp - so when I get there I will definitely take a few pics.
