Well... this sucks, but I can't say I was expecting much from Britt this year anyway.

This really isn't something to panic about. Britt will miss a few practices and the 1st preseason game. The goal is to get him ready for the regular season, and that doesn't sound like it will be a problem.

Britt just may not be the star receiver this year, which has never happened to a rookie under Jeff Fisher anyway. If Britt plays solid this season, he will get his 30 catches, 2 to 3 touchdowns, and 300-400 yards. That is just what rookie receivers do as Titans (Hawkins was the exception, though if the Titans hadn't brought J-Mac back, he might have been able to do it).

I expect Hawkins to do better than Britt this season. I could be wrong, but I hope Hawkins can really be a strong #2 or #3.

It does sound like Hawkins is in a pretty fierce battle with Chris Davis to claim that number 3 spot. I hope that keeps up through the preseason and Britt is eased in slowly.

Hawk has shown some flashes but I think Chris Davis has the edge on him right now. Don't forget Davis has ST value too which frankly Hawk just doesn't have.

It isn't panic. It's the "solvence" we have when choosing WRs. It's the DANG trend of them being injured.

A lot of minor injuries right now. I wonder if the condition of the practice field has contributed to that.

yeah some of it looked awful.
the too much rain and the lack of sun might be a factor.
