Wide Receiver Nate Washington is known for taking advantage of the opportunities given to him.
An undersized receiver from Toledo, Ohio, Washington was given a chance to play at Tiffin University, a small school one hour outside his home town. In his seasons at the small school, Washington made it count holding eight Tiffin receiving records including most touchdowns and yards in a career.
"To see all the hard work from a small guy, an undrafted guy, at Tiffin University you cry this game," Washington said. "Everything is football in my life and to see it all pay off and everything coming together like it's coming together, it's gratifying.''

One reason Washington was brought to the Music City was to compliment another Titans receiver, Justin Gage. The 6-4 Gage racked up 651 yards receiving with six touchdowns in 2009. Washington said he’s confident that the two will use each other to improve their production.
"We are going to take pressure off of both of us. It's not going to be one sided at all. I keep telling Gage, this league is going to have problems on their hands," Washington said. "That's the way I feel because in all reality neither me nor Gage have a big superstar name in this league. I think me and him are focused enough to do that right now and it's going to happen.''
I really think Nate will be a playmaker for us this year but in addition will allow 12Gage to open his game as well. Opposing defenses are going to have fits trying to defend our offense this year. I truly believe that. :toast
