Default Braves now worst team in baseball

Technically they are tied with the Phillies for last at 56-88, but I am sure they will surpass them pretty easily.

What is frustrating is that on July 7, they were 42-42 and in contention for the division. But after trading away much of their talent, they have gone 14-46 since then. They have won only 5 of their last 33 games.

Vandy football is in last place in the SEC. Austin Peay football is one of the worst in the FCS. Braves are in last. Now you know why I really need the Titans to do well this year.

Try being Tigers fan and watching the team absolutely collapse after the first 6 weeks of the season where they were arguably the best team in baseball.

They might actually end up around where the Braves are soon.

Despite being awful, the Braves set a major league record yesterday by winning their last 19 home games that were decided by a single run (so when they lose, they lose big). The only team they can beat consistently is the Phillies, and they swept the series 2-1, 2-1, 2-1. Now they are no longer in last place.

The Braves ended up with just the third worst record in baseball at 67-95. The Reds and Phillies were worse.

Not too sure I'm a fan of the one game, wild-card. Jake Arrieta shut down the Pirates, and they had the second best record in MLB this year. I'm glad the Cubbies won, but it should be a best of three...
