Strange that nfl.com has no news of this.

What a tragic end to such a promising career.

I think it got too much coverage on some networks. To me, he has been out of the NFL for several years and was not worth discussing. This wasn't some tragedy, he was a thug and convicted murderer and made wrong choices.

Heard Mike Florio make a comment that this is one of the moments where "you'll remember where you were when you heard the news". Oh please. That's just a ridiculous statement. More likely the family of Odin Lloyd will remember where they were then they found out their loved one was murdered.

    Sorry for the rant.

And now his murder conviction has been dismissed. Smart and diabolical to the end. If nothing else, at least his daughter will be taken care of after the Pats pay his $6m contract.

If Lloyd's family doesn't sue and take most of it.
I have the right to remain silent, I just don't have the ability.

What's scary now is the Hernandez estate suing the NFL and helmet makers for giving him a brain injury that may have led to his murderous lifestyle.
