Default 2017 - Titans Tailgate ઋઋ Riot ઋઋ League

    Hello all!

Well, the Riot League is ready for another Fantasy Fooball Season.

Invites to all owners from past one were already sent the mail, all teams activated.

If anyone didn't see it (because those mails can land in the spam folder) let me know.

If anyone doesn't want to keep playing, let me know as well to invite someone else.

And we all need to set the date for the Live Draft. Drafts aren't the same with 60-70% of the owners not present. Normally it has been done during the previous week before the Season starts, so we are all sure not to select injured players or such. So, please LET ME KNOW.

I am so ready for another NFL Season..and a Fantasy one as well!!

    Cheers all!!

    Hello again.

I need to ask again. Is everyone ready?

and...when do y'all want the Live Draft to take place? So all owners can be present.
    Thanks in advance.

I honestly have no clue when is a good time for me to draft. On the 22nd I was called back to Salt Lake City to be admitted into the transplant hospital after being sent home 3 days earlier (my kidneys went bad in just a couple weeks and it put me to the top of the liver transplant list immediately).

At 1am on the 23rd they started a 12 to 16 hour transplant began. I have no clue how long the surgery actually took. All I know is I woke up and had more IV's and ports going in and out of my arms, both sides of my neck, mouth, and nose that I couldn't give you an accurate guess. Anyways, I woke up with a new liver and 55 new staples across my stomach. It is an impressively large incision.

On the 24th or 25th (it's a blur of crying pain) they had me up and doing short walks. It is now the 31st. The pain is still extreme but I'm walking (with a walker just for my safety and probably some insurance reasons) on my own 5 to 6 times a day. I have PT exercises I have to do daily.

I will be checked out of the hospital here in the next few days. I have no clue what my internet connection I will have at the hotel or apartment I will be staying at. All I know is I'm going to be here in Salt Lake City for the next 4 to 6 weeks at a minimum and have to be at the hospital every day or every other day at times they tell me to be here. If not at the hospital I'll be in an apartment or hotel room. The hotel room will have a more guaranteed internet connection. The apartment (which if available is a couple hundred dollars cheaper) may or may not have internet. I'm hoping for the apartment because the medication is expensive enough. Lol

Thanks all for replying, and my best hopes and prayers are going your way, Zack!! You are a true example of resilience and role model for many, many people!!

Well, my logic has always traced the Live Draft for the first week of September, since then we all can have a good idea of which players we can take (specially the rookies who show promise in the forthcoming season) and which players are out of the equation (due to injuries, suspensions, etc.). I am the exception to this rule, because I had failed and hard..no matter how much homework and study I had done prior to EVERY DRAFT!

That first week of September can be taken into consideration from the 2nd (Saturday) through Wednesday 6th...since first game kick-off is scheduled for Thursday 7th.

In the past I chose Saturday's, thinking that everyone is at home, even setting the Live Draft with months in advance...and it normally happens in my life I AM WRONG! (Lol)

So those are the dates. With that said:

Please be kind and let me know which day (or night) from those days it's safe for all of you to do our Live Draft.

And THANKS TO EACH OF YOU, for keeping this League going forward!!

I'll do my best to make it.

I'll pass this on to CJ (brother in law).

The draft is currently setup at 9:00pm PDT.

That's 11:00pm for our friends in Tennessee. You may want to fix that.

(Pop pointed this out in the league.)

Ok, time is scheduled to 7:00 p.m. (PST) now, which is 9:00 pms (CST)...so we are set.

Central time is my time also...I am not sure why if in past Drafts time was automatically scheduled to the Comissioner's time as well, it wasn't the case this time.

    Thanks, Pop.

With your confidence and how you had been active as an owner is enough.
