Default Gabbert signs with the Titans

His two wins last year were against the Jags and us.

There aren't a lot of options left at backup QB, so he is fine and at least an upgrade over Cassell.
Go Titans! Go Braves! Go Preds! Go Dores!

    Low bar to be better.

If Kap didn't have so much attention attached to him, he would be a better fit.

Meh. I guess it could be worse. Gabbert is better than Henne so at least there is that.

Gabbert will do. I think he can at least manage a game when (yes, when) Mariota goes down. I think there were better options, but Gabbert is still a big upgrade over Cassell.

Speaking of backup QBs, our temporary QB Brandon Weeden is back to the Texans. What is scary for them is that he is the leading guy to backup Watson. Weeden lost out to Tom Savage last year in training camp, which should tell them how bad a choice he is.

The Titans still have Alex Tanney and Tyler Ferguson on the roster. Tanney looked so bad last preseason before getting hurt, so I would be very surprised if he makes the team. And for whatever reason, Ferguson had only 4 passes in the preseason last year. I have no idea what the Titans' plans for him are.
Go Titans! Go Braves! Go Preds! Go Dores!
