Default Will the Preds be like every other Nashville team as a top seed?

There have been three times that I can think of where a Nashville sports team was #1 overall going into the postseason before this year.

2000 Titans - very similar to the Preds in that they went to a Super Bowl the year before unexpectedly. But they kept the Ravens too close and lost it on two big plays at the end.

2008 Titans - were the best team all year, but struggled some late in the season. Another loss to the Ravens in their first playoff game.

2007 Vandy baseball - had MLB starters in David Price, Pedro Alvarez, Ryan Flaherty, and Mike Minor and were the #1 overall seed in the NCAA baseball tourney. But they lost to Michigan in the regionals.

2018 Preds - #1 overall seed, had a 1-0 lead with a little over 4 minutes to go in a clinching game, but gave up two goals to lose. First time they have lost a clinching playoff game at home. The good news is that they just need 1 of these last 2 games, but it is disheartening to see them score 1 goal against a third string goalie.
Go Titans! Go Braves! Go Preds! Go Dores!

Congrats to the Preds! They had their best game by far, winning 5-0. The Nashville streak has been broken.
Go Titans! Go Braves! Go Preds! Go Dores!
