Default Johnathan Cyprien out for season with torn ACL

It sucks to have a lost a starter already. At least it happened before preseason games, and there are some safeties that haven't signed with a team yet.

I'm surprised Reid and Vaccaro are out there. Titans have to sign one of them.

Reid sued the NFL for collusion, which makes it really difficult for any team to sign him.

Vaccaro is quite good when healthy, something he wasn't last year with his groin (and later his wrist). He was put on IR on Dec 17 last year, so hopefully he has healed enough. I would expect Vaccaro's chances to be a Titan are much greater than Reid's.

Vrabel said they were going to bring Reid in for a workout.

Reid couldn’t come in. He’s a better player than Vac, but either one should be an upgrade over a healthy Cyprien IMO

As it turned out, Reid missed his scheduled visit to Nashville due to multiple flight cancellations for bad weather. The Titans had positive talks with the former 49ers safety, Rapoport added, and will keep him at the top of their list if a need arises in the future.

Real shame about Reid. However, Vacarro should be good enough to at least play with no noticeable drop off at worst, and at best he makes the secondary even better
