    Default Draft plans anyone?

I have decided to skip Thursday (it's my last week of my bowling league) and attend at least Friday (1:30 PM till whenever we have both picks done). I may attend Saturday, but not sure yet.

I will mostly be hanging out downtown, though I hope to make at least one trip to the stadium to check out everything there.

Will anyone else be going? I would love to meet with anyone Friday night.

Going to the General Jackson on Friday afternoon. Starts at 5:30 for rounds 2 and 3. May park at the main event parking. Hope they have a shuttle. Anyone else going?

    Jim

    I'm going to the beach.

Jim, I'm pretty sure 315 aka Dave will be on the General Jackson, too.

The NFL mobile fan pass app is pretty cool. It has maps and a list of all the events each day.

One thing I don't like is that even though these events are outdoors, there will still be a strict bag policy. You can basically carry an empty reusable water bottle with you, and that's about it. No backpacks, coolers, food, etc.

I don't like it either, but alas, it is the world we live in now.

Have you seen the CCTV video of the one Sri Lanka bomber with the backpack just prior to the atrocity?

Security of the masses is a real issue; I, for one, don't need a backpack to experience and enjoy the festivities.

There are over 100 thousand fans at the draft today, yet the first person I run into is Zonian.

Small world. It is a lot of fun, especially by the stadium.

Thinking of coming down Sat morning for the draft. Where's the best place to park? When I come down for games I normally park by the baseball park or across the street from the Municipal Auditorium.

If you get there early enough, go to the Nissan Stadium lots, since they are free. Most of the cool stuff is by the stadium, though it is worth it to go downtown and see the stage.
