Default Playoff situation going into final week

Well, that was a disappointing loss to the Packers. Thankfully, the Steelers did their part, so the Titans are still alive to win the division. For these scenarios, I am assuming the Colts beat the 1-14 Jags. If the Jags were to somehow win and the Titans lose, the Titans are the #4 seed.

Titans will be the #3 seed if they win and the Bills lose their last two games (Patriots, Dolphins).

Titans will be the #4 seed if they win and the Bills win at least one game.

Titans will be the #5 seed with a loss AND Browns (vs. Steelers), Dolphins (vs. Bills), and Ravens (vs. Bengals) all lose.

Titans will be the #6 seed with a loss and 2 of the 3 other teams listed lose.

Titans will be the #7 seed with a loss, a Browns win, and the Dolphins and Ravens go 1-1.

Titans miss the playoffs with a loss, a Dolphins win, and a Ravens win.

Last year the Titans had to go to Houston and win to get into the playoffs. The Texans rested a lot of starters, so it was an easy win. This year, the Texans likely won't rest anyone, but they have have lost their last 4 games and are just 4-11. The Titans still need to come out in full force like last year to win this game.

I'm worried about the game - that Watt speech will fire them up to finish the season with a better effort.
What a long strange trip it's been...

    Final playoff positions:

    #1 Chiefs (bye)
    #2 Bills vs. #7 Colts
    #3 Steelers vs. #6 Browns
    #4 Titans vs. #5 Ravens

It's going to be a tough road to the Super Bowl for the Titans (especially with this defense). While the Titans do have a two game win streak over the Ravens, the Titans are going to have to play a terrific game at home to advance. Hopefully there will be at least one upset to avoid the Chiefs.
Go Titans! Go Braves! Go Preds! Go Dores!
