Default History that can be made this Sunday

If the Titans beat the Texans, the following milestones are met:

    1. First division title since 2008 and only the fourth in Titans history (2000, 2002, 2008).
    2. First sweep of the Texans since 2007.
    3. Best road record (6-2) since doing the same in 2008.
    4. Best overall record (11-5) since 2008 (though 10-6 also qualifies)

Tannehill needs one more TD pass to tie Moon for #2 for most TDs in a season (33). He needs four more to tie the franchise record set by Blanda in 1961.

Tannehill needs 397 passing yards to become the first Titans QB with 4000 yards in a season.

If Tannehill starts Sunday, he will be the first Titans QB to start all 16 games in a season since Hasselbeck in 2011, and only the 2nd in Titans history (McNair did it in 2002, though he also did it twice as the TN Oilers).

Henry needs 157 rushing yards to tie Earl Campbell for #2 in a single season. He needs 223 to break 2000, and he needs 229 to tie CJ for the franchise record.

Henry needs 1 rushing TD to tie the record he set last year for #2 in franchise history. He needs 4 more to tie the franchise record set by Earl Campbell in 1979.

Corey Davis needs 55 receiving yards to break 1000. Brown needs 76. Brown needs one more TD reception to tie the Titans record set by Drew Bennett in 2004 (11) and two more to tie the 2nd place record in franchise history (set by 3 players). He would need 7 to tie the franchise record, so that isn't going to happen.

    Default

With the win, the first four milestones were met.

Tannehill scored one passing TD to tie Moon for 2nd place.

    Tannehill started all 16 games.

Henry had 250 yards and broke the franchise record for rushing yards. He had 2 TDs to break his own Titans mark for most rushing TDs.

Davis didn't hit his milestone (drops really hurt), but Brown had 1 TD and 151 yards receiving to hit his milestone.

Titans finished 2nd in the NFL in points scored. That is the best in Titans history (Titans finished 5th in scoring back in 2003). It was the most points scored in Titans history (491) and 22 short of the franchise record set back in 1961.
Go Titans! Go Braves! Go Preds! Go Dores!
